The Carpet is crush resistant, tough, strong, durable yet tactile and flexible. A heel pad is provided on the driver side car mat which is made from the same carpet as the mat and ensures the area that gets the most wear is suitably protected.

The back of the Audi A6 Saloon car mats utilise a rubber coated backing which prevents slipping.
